JOB AD: [CONTRACT] Analog Design Engineer Location: 100% remote Duration: 6 Months Start Date: November 2021 A client based in Ireland is looking for several Analog Design Engineers. This will be for an initial 6-month contract. The client is looking for Analog Circuit Design Contractors to join the IP Sensor & SerDes Design Teams designs analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for on-chip supply monitoring (current and voltage) and management, droop mitigation, voltage and current references, differential clock references, phased-locked loops, high speed PHY receivers and drivers, VCOs, PLLs, and a range of other IP across products. The primary focus of the work is on low-power and low-voltage mixed-signal design with emphasis on advanced nanometer FINFET technology nodes. The successful candidate will both design key circuit blocks and work closely with layout engineers to ensure the layout is fully optimized and complies with best analog layout practices. You will be directly involved in delivering next-generation designs for SoCs and will be part of a growing analog mixed-signal design team involved in architecture analysis and IP delivery in leading-edge CMOS process technology nodes at 5nm and beyond. The role requires industry experience in transistor-level circuit implementations or highly relevant academic experience in a PhD program focused on full custom analog circuit design using nanometer CMOS technologies. In addition to analog and mixed signal circuit design expertise, good understanding of device physics, analog circuit custom layout, power distribution networks (PDN), mixed-signal design flow, SoC top-level integration and Cadence IC Design Tools are desired. Develop analog/mixed signal hard macros using Cadence IC design environment in conjunction with proprietary CAD flows. Participate in internal customer requirements discussions. Create design specifications. Perform circuit design in the latest FinFet CMOS processes technologies and beyond. Create behavioral models in Verilog. Set-up, run and analyze circuit simulations.
